Governor's Contact Info

The web contact information for Governor Kulongoski that we sent in our earlier message today was incorrect.  (The information has been corrected in the on-line version.)

Note that there is an underline in the space between "contact" and "us" in the above link that doesn't show (contact_us)

The governor's phone number is 503-378-3111. Everyone should both call and email. In addition, all OCVA chapters and other allied organizations that have official letterhead are asked to send a hardcopy letter to the governor on your letterhead stationery, addressed to:

Keep all messages as short as possible. KEY POINTS:

1. Please sign HB 2484 into law. It corrects an onerous flaw in the ORS 195 annexation process.
2. Both Legislative chambers gave overwhelming endorsements to the bill. It has widespread bipartisan support.
3. HB 2484 is very important to tens of thousands of our fellow citizens.
4. SB 887 does NOT provide the ORS 195 reform needed.

Plus others you may think of - but try to keep it short and to the point. And of course, polite and professional. It's important that we get big NUMBERS of these messages out NOW. If there are multiple members in your household, get everyone to send a message. WE'RE SO CLOSE - LET'S FINISH THE JOB...and NOT ALLOW THE LEAGUE OF OREGON CITIES TO FINISH US OFF!
